For shippers, CFOs and logistics managers

Freight audit that finds what your carriers overbilled.

Crerio reads every carrier invoice, checks each charge against the rate sheet you signed, and shows you the overcharges in dollars — with a dispute pack ready for the carrier. Large audit firms serve enterprises; Crerio is built for shippers spending $300k–$5M a year.

What Crerio checks on every carrier invoice

Rate-sheet matching

Load each carrier's rate sheet once — typed, imported from CSV or read from the contract PDF — and every billed charge is compared with the rate you agreed, within its validity dates and allowed variance.

Accessorial charges

Liftgate, residential delivery, detention, limited access, inside delivery: the most common source of LTL billing errors. Each is checked against the amount on your rate sheet.

Fuel surcharge

Enter your agreed fuel surcharge as a percentage (unit %) and Crerio computes what it allows from each invoice's linehaul, so a higher percentage never slips through.

Duplicate invoices

Warns the moment an invoice repeats one already processed — the same PDF, the same carrier and PRO number, or the same amount on a nearby date — before it is paid twice.

Reason and dollar amount

Every flagged charge says why — e.g. “Liftgate billed 150.00 > rate sheet 75.00” — with the amount to claim back per charge and per invoice.

Dispute pack

Send the carrier a dispute from Crerio in one click: each overcharge, your agreed rate and the credit requested. Their reply is tracked on your Disputes page.

Forward invoices by email

Forward carrier invoices to your own Crerio address: each one is audited and you get a summary email.

Savings dashboard

Mark each overcharge disputed, short-paid or credited, and see your validated savings and your plan's share month by month.

From carrier invoice to credit in three steps

Drop invoice PDFs, many at a time. Each charge is read and compared with your agreed rate.

  3. 03

Frequently asked questions

What is a freight audit?
A freight audit checks carrier invoices against the rates you agreed before or after you pay them: base rates, fuel surcharges, accessorial charges, duplicates and arithmetic. Shippers that audit typically recover 1–5% of their freight spend.
Which errors does Crerio find?
Charges above your rate sheet, accessorials billed at the wrong amount, duplicate invoices and arithmetic mistakes. In an AFS Logistics audit of nearly 250,000 LTL invoices, about 4.5% had errors, and 42.8% of those errors were accessorial charges.
Who is it built for?
US companies with 10–200 employees spending $300k–$5M a year on freight — e-commerce brands, distributors and smaller manufacturers — where the owner, CFO, controller or logistics manager checks carrier bills by hand or not at all.
Does Crerio contact my carriers?
Only if you ask us to. On Pro you send the dispute pack yourself, in one click from Crerio. On Business, Crerio can email your carriers on your behalf, with you in copy on every email, once you switch it on.
How much does freight audit software cost?
Crerio publishes its prices: a free audit of your last 50 invoices; Savings at $149/month plus 15%; Pro at $299/month plus 12% of validated savings; Business at $499/month plus 10%; Custom plans at 8%. The share is only on overcharges you short-pay or the carrier credits.
