Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 6 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-06

The short version

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Crerio AI, including the website, the verification workspace and the API. It expands on section 11 of our Terms of Service; if the two differ, the Terms govern.

2. What Crerio is for

Uploading business documents, such as carrier invoices, rate sheets, commercial invoices and packing lists, so that line items can be extracted, checked against arithmetic, your rate sheets and your parts records, reviewed by a person and exported.

3. Content you may not upload

Documents you are not entitled to process, or that breach someone else's rights, confidentiality or privacy.

Unlawful content, malware, or files designed to exploit software.

Sexual content of any kind, including non-consensual intimate imagery, and images of people. Crerio processes business documents only.

Personal data that a business invoice doesn't need, such as identity documents, health or financial account details of individuals.

4. Use of AI features

Crerio's AI only reads documents. You may not try to make it generate images, video or audio, harmful instructions, or any sexual or intimate content, or try to get around its safeguards.

AI extraction can be wrong. You must review flagged results before paying an invoice, claiming money from a vendor or filing a customs entry.

5. Protecting the service

Don't probe, scan or test the security of Crerio except as described in our Security & Responsible Disclosure policy, and don't access other customers' data.

Don't overload the service, scrape it, automate uploads outside the web app and the documented API, or work around plan limits, for example by splitting one business across many accounts or re-processing the same document.

Don't share sign-in links or API keys outside your organisation, and keep them secret.

Don't resell Crerio, or use it to build a competing product, without our written consent.

6. Enforcement and reporting

We may remove content, suspend processing or close accounts that break this policy, as described in section 17 of the Terms. Where the law requires, we report illegal content to the authorities.

To report misuse, write to support@crerio.com.
